Job Search Prep Session: Tuesday, January 19th, 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Career Services Center Kanbar 314
Learn how to search for a job in a down economy. Students will be taught how to research companies, expand their network and organize their search for successful results. Students seeking full-time and internship jobs are encouraged to attend. Space is limited; pre-register on CareerLink.
NEW! Internship Action Plans: January 20th, 25th and 26th, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Career Services, Kanbar 313
Sophomore and junior level students, preparing for an internship search, are encouraged to schedule a 1:1, half-hour appointment with the Career Services staff. Students will walk away with an individualized plan to get their search started. Students should call the Career Services Center at 215.951.2930 to schedule an appointment.

NEW! Interview Preparation and a LIVE Mock Interview: Tuesday, February 9th, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Tuttleman 108
Learn about interviewing from an employer named by Fortune Magazine as “Most Admired” general merchandiser. Following the instruction, the employer will conduct a LIVE interview with a Philadelphia University senior and critique the interview for the audience. Space is limited; pre-register on CareerLink.

Students are invited to meet alumni from various industries to learn about their careers while building their professional network. Alumni attending each session will be posted on CareerLink – students are strongly encouraged to pre-register.

Update your resume to include your summer experience. Make sure your resume is as strong as it can be to attract the attention of the employers you’re targeting. Spend 10-15 minutes for a 1:1 review of your resume before giving a single one to an employer!
